What's coming up at Grace Umhlanga?

  • SKEPTIC

Sermon series starting campus-wide on Sundays from 17 June to 1 July.

If you’ve ever had a conversation about the Bible, Church or Christianity, you’ve probably heard responses along the lines of, “Christians are hypocrites”, “Is the Bible even still relevant?” or “The church just wants your money”. We’re doing 3 week series here at Grace called Skeptic, where we’ll be looking at the questions people have about Christians, the Church and the Bible. The series starts on the 17th of June and is a great one to invite friends and family along to.

  • THE CIRCUS HOLIDAY CLUB

    Monday 2 - Friday 6 July

Looking for something for your kids to do in the upcoming holidays? Go ahead and sign them up for Holiday Club. This year’s combined Holiday Club runs at Anthem Church in Durban North from the 2nd to the 6th of July. All kids from Grade R to 7 are welcome. Register your kids online CLICK HERE or email gracekids@grace.org.za for more info.

  • Mandela Day

    Wednesday, 18 July - 11:00-14:00

What will you be doing for Mandela Day this year? Spend your 67 minutes at our uMhlanga Campus where we will have a range of activities you and your colleagues can be part of. Get involved in making sandwiches, rolling yarn, planting seedlings, or donating blood. Your efforts will benefit a number of NGO partners, and throughout the day we will be building the South African flag out of cupcakes.

So come along on the 18th of July as we make a difference in our nation. Please sign up for planning and catering purposes CLICK HERE.

grace kids umhlanga

Grace Kids is a fun, safe place for kids to discover THE ADVENTURE OF FOLLOWING JESUS. We use creative, relevant, and age-appropriate Bible teaching, high-energy worship, and dedicated small group leaders to ensure kids enjoy their hour on a Sunday. At Grace we understand that there is more to leading children to Jesus than just Sundays. That's why we intentionally partner with parents and families to help kids discover and develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus.

Grace Kids runs every Sunday during all our services 07:30 | 09:15 | 10:55 | 17:30. All children are signed in and out of Grace Kids on a Sunday by their parents and are allocated a unique number. In the event that a parent needs to be contacted during a service, your child's number will appear on the screen in the main auditorium. For parents of infants age 0-12 months, our auditorium is equipped with a Parents Room with a glass window so parents can see and hear the service. Otherwise, check out what's available for every age up to Grade 6.

Creche: 1-3 years

This facility is staffed by dedicated volunteers, who will care for your little one with their safety being our priority.

Pre-Primary: Gr 00-R

Our preschoolers enjoy a structured time of worship and story time followed by a fun activity to reinforce what they have learned. The focus in this age group is 'God made me, God loves me, and Jesus whats to be my friend forever.'

Primary: Gr 1-6

Our primary school children get together for high-energy, action-packed worship and creative, relevant teaching time. This is followed by age-appropriate small group time that reinforces the lesson led by our amazing Grace Kids volunteers.
